The academic programmes and regulations have been carefully drawn up to enable everyacademic staff and students to know that, it is expected of them to know 'how'and 'when' to monitor the programme. The programmes and regulations are being modified as the institution grows and develops. GPCHST runs programs in various departments of health service especially in primary healthcare which are accredited by respective regulatory bodies and institutions, at the state and national level. Majority of our programmes are full-time and cannot rule out having part-time programmes in the future. B. REGISTRATION, MATRICULATION AND IDENTITY CARDS GENERAL REGISTRATION All students must register in the institution before starting to attend lectures. The purpose of registration is to ensure that students are provided with essential information concerning their courses. The process of registration provides an opportunity for the school to collect certain information from them through completion of a number of forms. The Academic affairs Office gives the details of when and where to register, what documents to bring, etc. The registration process must be completed within two weeks of resumption. Failure to adhere to this could result in loss of academic year by the student. On completion of registration each student will be assigned a registration number. MATRICULATION This is a public ceremony that is regarded as the end of admission exercises, it marks the formal beginning of the academic session and when new students are formally admitted into the school. All new students are expected to be present in academic gowns, say publicly the matriculation oath and then sign matriculation in his/her conduct during his or her studentship.
